It’sthat exciting time of the year again when technical expertise and efficiency take center stage at one of the sppot’s BIG3 events – Get Technical. This year, the event will behosted by our partners, WAGNER, at WAGNER – SERVICE, Poland, from November 20th to 21st.

Get Technical 2024 will be split into two distinct parts – a conference and technical workshops. The conference: Get-tech savvy to boost your efficiency will take place at the Vienna House Hotel, (event hall OPAL, second floor) covering critical industry topics such as challenges and future directions of production in Europe, EU regulations, and available funding opportunities for businesses.

As always, GET TECHNICAL is all about hands-on experience and practical insights. And this year, we’re raising the bar even higher with eight fully equipped stations featuring the latest surface finishing innovations that you can see and test firsthand.

Two-days, free-of-charge, live event dedicated to technical expertise and innovations in the bicycle and sporting goods industry. Guests of the event will join an interactive and versatile conference followed by real-time demonstrations of a surface finishing process of frames and other bicycle components. Also, you will have the opportunity to participate in insightful discussions and build new valuable connections with other industry members.

At the Color Trend Days by Posterama in the Netherlands, in the spring of 2023 set ground for an open dialogue among bike and sporting goods industry for all the good reasons on reshoring. In our autumn event we keep the dialogue open, inviting you to a morning conference session. Noticeable representatives from the industry will share their hard-earned insights about sustainability and energy efficiency gained through years of experience in Europe. Experts from the production line will be there to discuss the quality standards and how to prevent troubleshooting within the production process.

 Unveiling the surface finishing process in real-time.

The combination of various products from different global suppliers makes surface finishing a hard and complex process. At the sppot we bundled our know-how and the guests of the event will be able to witness it through real-time demonstration of surface finishing of a bike frame and some of the most common troubleshooting within the whole process. The host of the event Eurotherm Spa is setting up a brand-new demonstration area with powder and liquid coating booths, equipped with Lesta’s robots, WAGNER’s spray guns and manual application systems needed for surface finishing of a bike frame. Posterama will have a decaling workshop. Duthoowill have live demonstration of scratch repairments. Along with the process, visitors will have the opportunity to check the latest colors and shades of TIGER’s powder coatings portfolio and Berlac’s liquid coatings.

GET TECHNICAL: THE QUALIFIED WORKSHOP OF SURFACE FINISHING SOLUTIONS & INNOVATIONS

22nd – 23rd of November 2022, Budapest, Hungary

Get Technical is one of the BIG3 annual events of the sppot, which traditionally takes part at the end of the year. Focused on technical knowledge and expertise in surface finishing technologies and innovations, this event was elaborated from one-to-one sessions to a two-days event for wide public. In November 2022 we had our live event, hosted by WAGNER in the premium facilities of their exclusive partner in Hungary – M.L.S. Magyarország Kft.

The program was designed in 4 modules, arranged on 4 stations fully equipped with the latest application systems of WAGNER. High qualified technical experts were there to demonstrate and discuss details, trouble shootings, problems preventing and good practices of surface finishing process. All in one:

  • powder – liquid – decals-quality control
  • The powder coating stations equipped with automatic line application system and innovative robot were handily managed by the team of TIGER Coatings, WAGNER and MLS, demonstrating technics in primer, one layer and top coats powder coating application.
  • The teams of Berlac and WAGNER were demonstrating an innovative electrostatic gun for manual use and with a robot, applying solvent and water based premium quality liquid coatings of Berlac, and were there to answer the all questions of the guests.
  • At the decal station, Posterama’s team held short workshop on water decals application, along with demonstrations of “dos& don’ts” in decal application technics.
